I've decided tha my rubbishness as a blogger should be remedied, so I think I'm going to aim to update once a week. We'll see how that works out. ;)
Last time I blogged it was about jobs and low and behold I am now employed! I start on Wednesday at another after school club run by a different company. I'll be working at the school with the coolest name I've ever heard and I hope all will be well. It does mean that my time management skills will need to be AMAZING though, as I'm going to be working a 19 hour week on top of lectures and studying and the travel to the school, and church and volunteering and a social life, and this all makes my head spin a wee bit. Given the 200 hours we are supposed to be doing over the course of a term per course, I've worked out I'll have a 70 hour week (not including church/volunteering/social life). I may die! Hopefully I can utilise the bus journeys for studying and all but I'm going to be pretty tired.
Luckily, it isn't too long at all until Christmas! This keeps me going to be honest! I love Christmas and all it means, especially now I don't live at home any more. Can't wait to meet up with all the gang, who I unfortunately don't get to see very often, and when I do we never all seem to be in one place at the same time. Clearly I need to rectify this!
What I've been reading: antisemitism, death rites in Africa and the ascension of Muhammad.
What I've been listening to: after ignoring Laura's sage advice I've finally bowed to Laura Marling and I have to admit she's pretty darn good. ATM though, I'm listening to a bit of AC/DC.
What my plans are for the next week: The usual plus starting my new job, cleaning my room/flat, getting started on essay reading, having lunch with Laura W, hopefully meeting up with Laura in Glasgow
